Our mission is to restore the health of our river through community action, science and collaboration.  

​We exist to restore the beautiful and precious wildlife habitats of the headwaters of the Itchen and its catchment.  Join us to be part of the future in ensuring the resilience of our local river and its surrounding wildlife habitats.

We are a community group working to build a shared understanding of the health of our environment.  To make progress we need the help of volunteers – you can help !

Volunteering can take many forms:

• Sampling river water or surveying wildlife as part of one of our Citizen Science projects

• Joining working parties to remove invasive species or restore habitat

• Get involved in our of our campaigns

• Alerting us to things that you observe

• Using specialist skills you may have, such as running our website, fundraising or researching / writing materials about challenges on our river
